AnnMarie
Hamilton is from Phoenix, Arizona originally
where she resided for 20 years. She grew up on a
cattle ranch in Northwestern Arizona where her father taught her
to rope and ride. She competed in rodeos briefly during her
teens.
She moved to the
Island of Kauai in Feb 2002 and promptly fell in love with the
beauty and tranquility of the island lifestyle.
Her career on
the mainland was in Telecommunications where she was a District
Sales Manager for Cable and Wireless: a large telecom company
out of London. She oversaw sales for Arizona, New Mexico,
Colorado and Nevada.
AnnMarie learned
strong negotiating skills and an ability to work with all kinds
of personalities
effectively during her 6 year tenure
in telecom as well as putting in her share of 60+ work hours per
week.
After moving to
the Island she received her Real Estate license and worked
for local companies for the last 12 years representing mostly
Buyers and Sellers on the North Shore. In the fall of 2012 she
started her own brokerage Kauai Majestic Properties, LLC. She finds the pace of her
career very enjoyable and loves working with people who wish to
purchase a piece of paradise for themselves.
She holds a
Bachelors of Science in Psychology from Arizona State
University. During one of her earlier careers she was very active in working with
adolescent girls on parole as a group home facilitator. She was
also active for many years in Phoenix Youth at Risk,
Toastmasters, and Landmark Education, a transformational
curriculum for adults, and its sister group "Crossroads", where
troubled youth can confront their issues in a safe and
structured environment.
